Over the course of the past 6 months I’ve heard and even uttered the phrase “it could have been worse” countless times.
But suddenly I realize: it also could have been better.
Regarding accidents in which persons have gotten hurt, I know that phrase is supposed to make one appreciate that he didn’t die/get paralyzed/break BOTH legs/etc [...]
