“Can’t” break the cycle?
Or just “haven’t”?

Over the course of the past 6 months I’ve heard and even uttered the phrase “it could have been worse” countless times.
But suddenly I realize: it also could have been better.
Regarding accidents in which persons have gotten hurt, I know that phrase is supposed to make one appreciate that he didn’t die/get paralyzed/break BOTH legs/etc [...]

Don’t get married and invite 3/4 of my family.  That’s just rude.  I think I’m-oh-so-conveniently going on a bike ride that day, anyway.

The weather has been seasonably cold which feels unseasonably cold since Georgia never has quite understood what winter is supposed to entail (hint: snow).
Cold and dry. We have ice on the roads. I have a chapped face. Chapped hands.
Apparently three space heaters are better than one.
Apparently I have the world’s tiniest hot [...]

but my baby don’t love nobody but me
it’s plain to see

I threw a race and was glad at the finish.
I felt loved.  And loved.  This is success.  This is what I want for my life.
& I think I am well on my way (to success, to life).

GENERALLY
I am:
-out of shape
-drinking too much coffee
-trying to be a good student
-getting bad grades
-confused by the layout kerfuffle of my blog on certain monitors
-probably going to forgot to look harder to fix it when I do have time
-listening to Peter Bjorn and John

-finishing eating a sugar cookie
-needing to blow my nose
-wanting more coffee
